Our beliefs are biblically driven and grounded. We choose to back each of our beliefs with the Word.
Our story
Front Range Mission began with a calling placed on the hearts of Pastor James Taylor and his wife, Kenya, to plant a church in an area of the United States where there was a need for the Gospel.
Before coming to Colorado, James and Kenya spent 15 years serving as missionaries in Kenya, Africa, where they raised their five children while sharing the love of Christ. During their time there, they helped establish nine churches, a Bible institute and had the privilege of leading hundreds of people to the Lord.
Following their years in Africa, God led the Taylor family to Monticello, Arkansas, where James served as pastor of Pauline Baptist Church for five years, shepherding a congregation of approximately 450 people. Kenya served faithfully alongside him, playing an active role in the church's children's and women's ministries.
It was during their time in Arkansas that the Taylors met Matt and Hope Griffith, a couple raising three children and faithfully serving the Lord through youth ministry. Through their shared love for Christ and ministry, the two families developed a lasting friendship.
As their time in Arkansas drew to a close, James and Kenya began to sense that God was calling them into a new season of ministry. Through much prayer, research, and seeking the Lord's direction, they felt led to the Front Range of Colorado.
After a brief sabbatical, James and Kenya moved to Longmont with their five children still living at home. With hearts devoted to sharing the Gospel, building meaningful relationships, and helping others grow in their walk with Christ, they began the ministry of Front Range Mission.
About a year later, Matt and Hope Griffith and their family answered the call to join the Taylors in Colorado, coming alongside them in the ministry and mission of Front Range Mission.
Today, Front Range Mission continues with the same heart that brought these families to Colorado: to share the love of Jesus, faithfully teach God's Word, and walk alongside others as we grow together in Christ.
We believe God brought us here for a purpose, and we are excited to see how He continues to work through this ministry and the people He brings into our lives. Our greatest desire is to introduce, reintroduce, and authentically experience Jesus.
